The AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway is a complete Gateway solution that aggregates any quantity of AgrowSense sensor data within a Greenhouse sensor network and provides the information collected to the AgrowTronics AgrowCloud platform for sensor control, management, monitoring and associated analytics. The AG-G1-XXXX  Series 1 Gateway is a fully-featured, powerful Wi-Fi Client and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Gateway system with battery backup. 

The AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway is powered using a smart USB C interface, allowing fast charging. User interaction with the The AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 is made simple with the integrated AGrowTronics SmartRing of RGB LEDs. This SmartRing also serves to provide visual alerts if warnings are detected from any of the AgrowSense sensors.

With the high powered external Wi-Fi antenna, the AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway can provide connectivity to BLE devices up to 300 feet away.

Work anywhere, monitor anywhere

Use the AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway to provide monitoring and control of Wired and BLE AgrowSense sensors in the greenhouse, from anywhere in the world. AGrowTronics uses the AgrowCloud platform to automatically load sensor data and store it for historical review. Any AgrowSense sensors that find data exceeding preset thresholds automatically generate notifications via SMS, E-mail or Voice calls.

Simple, fast start up 

The AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway is effortlessly provisioned using the AGrowTronics AgrowApp mobile application (Available in the Apple Apps Store or on Google Play). Simply scan the QR code on the back of the AG-G1-XXXX or AG-G1-XXXX product box. Then, the AgrowApp guides you through the process of connecting the AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway to the Greenhouse Wi-Fi Network. Once connected to the network, the AG-G1-XXXX  automatically registers with the AGrowTronics AgrowCloud platform.

Adding AgrowSense BLE sensors is a fast, one-step process as well. Simply use the AgrowApp to add a new sensor. Scan or enter the product code and the AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway automatically scans for the device and registers it with your account.

Wired Devices are automatically detected and will self-provision. They are automatically  added to the user’s account, and then show up in the dashboard for the AG-G1-XXXX Series 1. Data immediately starts flowing to the AGrowTronics AgrowCloud platform once an AgrowSense sensor is connected. 

No Wi-FI? No power? No problem.

The integrated battery backup allows the AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 to continue monitoring and controlling the greenhouse when power is interrupted. It also immediately sends a notification to the AGrowTronics AgrowCloud platform when a power failure is detected. Note: Separate backup power supply for networking equipment is required.

While operating offline, the unit can store up to 1 Million data samples. This offline backup feature allows it to monitor for extended periods without internet connectivity.

The AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway supports Dual-Band Wi-Fi frequencies in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with standard and full Enterprise 802.1X Security.

The AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway also has an embedded encryption chip that ensures all communication is protected and cannot be intercepted. The encryption chip stores the AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway private key in an impenetrable vault. The private key never leaves the AG-G1-XXXX Series 1 Gateway and cannot be compromised.
